 3 large yellow onions chopped

2 Tblsp chopped fresh garlic

6 ribs celery chopped

2tblsp extra virgin olive oil

1 (8oz) bottle clam juice

2 tblsp all-purpose seasoning

1 bag shelled little neck clams from the asian market plus the liquid

1 large carton half n half

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

water


1) Saute the vegetables and garlic in extra virgin olive oil until tender.

2) add the all-purpose seasoning and stir to combine.

3) add the clam juice, liquid from the clams and simmer for ten minutes.

4)add the half n half and simmer for ten more minutes.

5) mix the flour and water until smooth and add to the broth and let thicken for 5 minutes.

6) add the clams and simmer for ten minutes and serve.

you may want to add salt while eating the chowder but that is up to you,
